Thing 3

One way I can use a blog as a teacher is for students to start one and write about problems they face in school everyday. I would not grade it so much as use it to better the school. You can also use a blog to help spread information about the school. The students in my class could start a news blog and every day post something new about the school, weather, community, or project.

Thing #2

I went with my first initial and then my last name and the title of what our blog is supposed to be about. I chose this, because the C. Barlow helps you know and be able to grade what I am supposed to be graded on.Then I chose the 23 Things to let you know that this is the blog that is needing to be looked at. It was hard creating the blog because even with the hint, I still had a hard time figuring out how to place the avatar on there. After about 30 minutes of trial and error, I finally figured it out. It was about half way in between hard and easy for me personally, the hints kinda helped. I am just not that good with blogs and things.  I barely post anything on facebook, and I do not have a twitter. My avatar reflects me by having my long, straight, brown hair, my green eyes, and what she is wearing. I love my green eyes and having long dark hair. I wear jeans a lot and I used to always be in a t-shirt, until very recently. I now have started to wear more of the types of things I will be wearing in a classroom, minus the shorts since summer is so hot and I walk to classes from my apartment. I chose to make the avatar like my real self because I don't want people to think I am something I'm not.

Thing 1

Of the 7 1/2 Habits online tutorial, the easiest one for me is either habit 7 1/2: PLAY! Another easy habit for me is habit 7: Mentor/ Teach others, because for the past 4 years I have been tutoring kids in elementary school and middle school math. Though 7 1/2 is probably the easiest, because I can easily get side tracked and forget to do something. The hardest for me is either habit 1: setting a goal, or habit 2: accept responsibility for your own learning. I am a very bad procrastinator. Its not good and I try to get better and have succeed a little but it is still a challenge. I will set a deadline and when it comes to the deadline I just push it back and have barely done something. I am trying even harder to fix it, but it is a process.
